COMET is processed by The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). RCPE is also funded and supported by the Province of Styria (Land Steiermark) and the Steirische Wirtschaftsföderung (SFG)

The COMET Center Research Center Pharmaceutical Engineering (RCPE) is a global leader in pharmaceutical process engineering. We support our partners in the development and manufacture of innovative medicines. Our science enables tomorrow’s medical discoveries and improves the lives of patients around the world.
The experience and expertise of our multidisciplinary team paired with our exceptional capabilities in simulation, AI, (nano-)material science, process design & quality control, as well as process monitoring and quality assurance, redefine the boundaries of what is possible and provide cutting-edge, scientific solutions tailored to our partners’ needs.
As a non-profit, private company owned by Graz University of Technology (49%), the University of Graz (36%), and Joanneum Research GmbH (15%), we combine outstanding science, business, and industry in an application-oriented approach.

COMET NETWORK
COMET builds bridges between science and business for a sustainable future. It is the Austrian flagship program of business and science for the promotion of cutting-edge research. It promotes the establishment of competence centers for excellent technologies – the COMET centers.
These centers work with companies and additional research partners to develop solutions for future topics such as climate protection, digitization, mobility, and health. Providing answers to some of the most pressing questions of our time and strengthening the innovation and business location and securing Austria a place at the forefront of international research and creating highly qualified jobs.
